Rick Wood and Corey Bartlett

Rick Wood, president and owner of Wisconsin-based Automotive Supply Company, announced Monday that he has sold the business to Automotive Parts Headquarters Inc. (APH), a third-generation, family-owned auto parts distributor based in St. Cloud, Minnesota. APH operates 280 store locations across nine states.

As a result of the acquisition, Automotive Supply Company鈥檚 10 locations will be rebranded as ASC Auto Value.

Wood has been a part of Automotive Supply Company since 1979 and succeeded Case Wewerka as owner. Founded in 1928, the company has a long history of serving auto repair professionals, serious DIYers and auto body shops throughout the region. Nearly a century later, it remains committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

鈥淎s I looked at our company鈥檚 future, I recognized APH as a natural fit to continue our family culture and growth,鈥 Wood said. 鈥淭he APH team has a strong culture, and we share the same values and focus on taking care of customers and employees. Additionally, the APH team has the experience and resources to provide great opportunities for our team and great solutions for our customers.鈥

Corey Bartlett, CEO of APH, said the acquisition aligns with the company鈥檚 values and growth strategy.

鈥淲e are honored and delighted Rick chose to sell his business to APH so we can continue their strong tradition of quality products, knowledgeable employees and superior service,鈥 Bartlett said. 鈥淲e are excited to enter these new markets and fortunate to add the Automotive Supply Company team to the APH family.鈥
