Summer is finally here! And with it comes one of the most classic summer desserts: s’mores. They’re fun to make, they’re easy to assemble, and their flavor combo is basically unbeatable. Or so I thought.
Enter: cookie dough s’mores. Life’s answer to the question: how can I make the best dessert EVEN better? Throwing cookie dough into the mix, that’s how! (This philosophy works for most things, by the way.)
Here at Delish we have a few variations on no-bake cookie dough, and this one is my personal favorite. It’s the perfect balance of sweet and salty that leaves you snacking on the scraps long after you’ve made your last s’more.
The trick to these tricked-out graham crackers is getting the dough nice and solid in the freezer. When you do, it is surprisingly easy to cut and holds its shape much better than you might expect from a cookie dough.
Wanna mix it up? Add a couple tablespoons of peanut butter (in place of butter) for a Reese’s-meets s’mores vibe! Or add a couple tablespoons of cocoa powder for a double-chocolate experience. S’mores season is here, lean in!
