Isuzu India has made great inroads in the country by pioneering the lifestyle pickup truck segment with the launch of the D-Max V-Cross 4×4 about three years ago.
Since then, the D-Max V-Cross has gone through a few upgrades and continues to be the ultimate adventure lifestyle vehicle you can buy at an affordable price point.
Keeping the value for money proposition and ensuring that the customers get what they want, the brand is now out with a new variant of the model, namely the Z-Prestige.
The limited-edition release gets the new 1.9 litre TDI engine and also comes with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The new diesel engine is touted to be a revolutionary piece of machinery that offers a peak power output of 150 PS and churns out 350 Nm torque, which also makes it more powerful than the current 2.5 TDI engine that powers the V-Cross.
In order to give the vehicle a more refined look, the new variant comes with a two-tone brown and grey combination in the cabin. This includes perforated leather seats and soft touches on the dash and doors.
Add to that, you also get a high-end audio system, steering mounted audio controls, a touchscreen infotainment system and USB connectivity.
With 4WD shift-on-the-fly as standard, the machine also boasts a high ride suspension, six airbags, a brake override system and your standard safety features including ABS as part of the package.
Currently on offer as a limited edition variant, the 1.9 litre TDI powered V-Cross will become part of the standard line up once BS6 regulations come into play in April 2020.
Add to that, a manual version will also be on offer at the time.
The Z-Prestige D-Max V-Cross 4×4 AT is priced at INR 19.99 lakh.
